Well, today was my Tuesday Speed Workout. Since I am planning on racing this Saturday, I cut the workout down a little bit and did 4x1ks (usually would have been 6) with a 2 min recovery in between each. It was the first time I had done this workout on an indoor track and it felt pretty good. My splits were 3:00, 3:06, 3:06, and 3:10. Noah was great to have there because we took turns pacing. At the end, I was able to take him on all four which showed me that my work on my finishing kick is going well! Got in a little over a 2 mile warm-up and cool down giving me around 7 for the day.
